Getting to Suria Cherating

As a general rule, bus ticket prices will be about RM2.50 - 3.00 per hour of your travel journey plus maybe a bit of an addition for a more comfortable 24 or 28-seat bus.

From Kuantan:

To KL: Buses to KL (RM13 - 5 hours from Kuantan) run quite frequently during the day. There are many bus services although Plusliner is a very good one.

To North: There are direct buses to Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Dungun and Kemaman leaving constantly from Kuantan. KT is about 5 hours away. The best bus services are Sutera and Seri Mutiara.

From Cherating:

All of the following are direct buses from Cherating. Alternatively, you can bus yourself to Kuantan by flagging a southbound bus on the highway (RM2.50 - 1 hour).

To KL: Buses leave every hour or two during the day until 5:30 p.m. and there is also an overnight bus. The ride takes about 5 hours (RM16).
